Olivine sat ready to order the bridge down for when Armond arrived. She had invited him to discuss a treaty, even though the lands were at peace, as a guarantee of said peace. She watched the waves of the small, pale white lake that surrounded the castle. It was mesmerizing to her, the soft, fluent, ever-continuing movement of the lake.
