    A wanderers Choice

Post by Hueco on Tue Jul 24, 2012 4:41 pm

Hueco wandered Lagnish mounains as the sun beat down on him. He didn't sweat however for the sun wasn't that hot and he wasn't really doing any exercises. he was just doing what he did best and scoping the land far beyond his hometown. There was a flat terrain of hard rock where he decided to rest for a bit;Like he needed it. He never disarmed himself at any given moment. He always held his guard up no matter where he was, in a world like this one, anyone can be the deceiver.

Armond liked taking strolls through the mountains. It gave him time to think, and the sheer scale of the peaks greatly humbled him. Armond considered humility a requirement for good leadership. It was on one of these strolls he noticed a young man, sitting down. He had nothing else to do, and he thought that a king should always talk with the common folk, as to become realistic and grounded. So, he approached the man. "Morning, stranger." He said with a smile

Within a second Hueco quicklygrabbed the blade on his back and pointed it directly at the mans chest. Death saturated his eyes and so did the intent to kill. But he didn't he stared at the man for a brief moment before looking at him and realizing who he was. Slowly he pulled his weapon back and put it back on his back as he continued to stare at the man, "Why is someone like you scoping the mountain range?" was the first question Hueco had asked.

The man shouldn't have pointed the weapon at Armond's chest. The second he pointed it there, the tip started to be engulfed by crystal, it retracted, however, when he sheathed the sword. "Why is someone like you scoping the mountain range?" Armond shrugged, never breaking eye contact with the man. "I like taking strolls. More importantly, why are you pointing weapons at the first person to say hello?"

Hueco stared at armond and continued to stare. "Trust issues, abandonment issues. Whatever you'd like to call it," He continued to look at him. Eyeballing him up and down as if he wouldn't even take the time to spit in his direction. "I am really not all for Altamones right now," He said. his intelligence was quite the ace. He could tell what race a person was just by looking at them. However this was still a tad limited. "I highly doubt you are up here just for a stroll," Hueco broke contact with the man, "King Armond," he finished.

The king emitted a short chuckle. "Actually, I am. The mountains humble me. And a good king should be humble. As for the Altamone thing, I recommend you rethink your view, you haven't met every Altamone, now have you? You may have met a one that doesn't suit your tastes. But that doesn't necessarily mean we're all the same." Armond positioned his hands behind him, their palms facing the ground. His symbols began to glow, and out of his hands flew crystal, which morphed into a large throne. Armond sat down, and put his hands in the air, more crystal flew out, and the crystal morphed into an identical throne. The Diamond King motioned to the other throne. "Care to sit with me?"

"I'd rather much prefer to stand sir," Hueco looked at the man, just like how a lioness would look at a gazelle. "I don't have just trust issues with altamones, so before you start assuming, make sure you know its true. I have trust issues with almost every race but us reggs," He looked away as his face frowned up into a glare to the earth beneathe his feet, "That blast of lights a few years back caused my fathers ship to be attacked by thousands or Guertha's. Many were killed including him," He quickly pulled the large sword from his back. "This was made by him and I. It is his farewell present before he passed on, I only use this in the situation demands it however,"

Armond met his stare with a confidence only a king could produce. "Doesn't matter whether you don't trust Altamones, or anyone. My point still stands. Though I wouldn't recommend you start trusting Gutheras." The king nodded "And you have my condolences. Though I have a question, why did the blast cause your ship to be attacked?"

The moment Armond asked the question Hueco looked at him glaringly. "Before that blast had happened there was nothing in the sky at all it was a nice peaceful day, and after it happened we were attacked by over fifty guertha's. That is no coincidence seeing as guertha's never attack People and go on a full on murder spree!" His anger was getting the best of him, "if only you knew the pain I felt, if only you could have seen what had happened that day!" His voice exploded "you god forsaken people and your powers. You are the reason why over five hundred shipmen died that day, I hope you all are happywith yourself. The only reason why you are all high and might is because of those powers, but take those away and what are you? A regg, just like me"

Armond stood, his stance one that only a king could hold. He towered over Hueco. The king breathed out through his nose, it was clear he was angry. "You sir, are a hypocrite. You try and scold me about presuming things, yet you presume so much yourself. You are not the only one to loose loved ones. My father's entire court died on the day of the blast, my entire city was obliterated, as was the palace, and the forest. Without my powers, we couldn't have rebuilt nearly as fast as we did. And the idea I caused the blast is preposterous! What evidence do you have? Do you think I caused it intentionally? We don't even know how it happened! I saw my father ripped into shreds in front of my very eyes, I awoke a few minutes later to find my country in ruins, my friends gone. And half of my people dead. So don't complain to me about what happened to you, because I've been through far worse."

The king eyes' burned with a fire."And I don't act 'high and mighty' if you had the sense to see through the curtain of hate over your eyes, you'd notice that up until now, I've treated you as an equal. I didn't kill you when you pointed that sword at my chest, I offered you a seat, I tried to help you with your flaws, and what have you done? You've thrown it all in my face, insulted me, insulted four entire races of people, accused me of killing everyone I knew, and you've also accused me of killing everyone on board your ship."

Hueco had to step back for a moment. He knew his anger was taking control of him and that's one thing he hated far more than he did anything else. "Please forgive me. I was out of place, please catch me sooner next time. My anger gets the best of me and that's one thing I have come to hate. Because when it happens I become someone else. There is like this other side to me that's a angry demon, and I don't know what it is about" he took a deep breath and looked back to armond. "I'm sorry for the insults and the accusations, but they pain you felt can not compare to mine because we both feel to different things. I was stranded in the ocean and had to swim back on my own for nearly over 4 days. I was attacked by creatures constantly yet I managed. I too did see my father die, his blood spilling on my hands as he was torn in front of me. It is a new age, and right now, I'm just focus on what will happen in the next hour," he had to sit down for a moment and put his hands over his face.

Armond squirmed slightly, now he felt pretty bad. He paused for a moment, then spoke up in a softer voice than before. "We all get angry at some point." His kingly instinct was kicking in. Despite the nature of his ability, Armond was quite soft. And, he felt bad for this strange wanderer. "Do you have a job? A family?"

Hueco looked at armond for a minute then looked down, "My job was on that ship, my family was on that ship, that ship was my home. I am orphaned and homeless," He said taking a deep breath before making eye contact with Armond. In his mind he reminesced over the scene, "Have you ever swam in the blue honey of the sea?" He said referring water of the ocean as honey.

Armond wasn't one for swimming. "I can't say I have, and I don't think I will. To be perfectly honest, I'm more likely to be swimming in real honey than metaphorical. But, that isn't particularly important. If you're looking for a job or the like, I'm not able to give you one myself, but I'd suggest you head towards Nosedos. There's quite a bit there."

Hueco looked at Armond puzzled like. "Noseados?" He then tried to remember what that place was, its been awhile since he actually took the time to really stay in a region long enough to remember its name. "Why noseados?" he said his mind failing him of the memory in which was noseados. He had no clue what to make of it, so he decided to ask the question.

Armond raised an eyebrow, "Well, it just seems like your type of place. Mainly because it's ruled by Lady Kanana. You know, controls lightning, beds every man in her country, i'm sure you've heard of her."

"I'm not at all into whores, but Lady Kanana is very skilled," Hueco thought to himself for a moment before finally coming to a logical conclusion. "I guess that is the best choice for me right now but before I do that, would you car for a short and quick spare? I need to see how skillful I have become, I am not seeing if I am stronger than you in anyway I'm just testing me and my skills out for the time being,"

Armond stood up, and flexed, sliding of his jacket and showing his incredibly muscled body. "Alright. Do you have any preferences, would you like me to not use my powers, or to use a weapon? " Armond was actually quite curious as to what this man could do. Although, he was slightly reluctant to fight him, after all, he didn't intend to seriously injure anybody. There was enough of that going around as it was.

"I rather you not go all out on me seeing as your powers definitely give you the upper hand, I just have to test myself out," Sticking his large blade in the ground cracking the earth he pulls out the two smaller blades on his sides and gets into a battle position. "Will you do the honors?" he exclaimed pointing the weapons in Armonds direction.

Armond nodded. "I'll ease up on the powers then, but first off." Armond reached out, and two thin sheets of crystal extended from his palm, covering the blade, and dulling it. "This way I won't get cut up." Armond smiled, then adapted a fighting stance. He decided to test out Hueco's speed, and he fired large cylindrical tube at Hueco, if he didn't react quickly, it would hit him straight in the chest.

Hueco cartwheeled to the left, out of the way of the spear. He did two backflips to regain his balance as he looked at Armond for a second. Twirling both blades in his hand he ran toward armnd and did several front flips finishing it off with a three midair spins and lastly he begins to strike. Both blades move like the wind as the slash and slice at armond decisively.

"Good, your reflexes are doing well." Armond had to move just as quickly, however, when Hueco launched a counterattack. Crystal formed from his palms, and climbed up his arm, hugging it, and forming a blade on either side of his arm. He did the same with his other arm, using the arm-blades, Armond just managed to parry the strikes, but it was clear Hueco was the better swordsman. However, Armond was an Altamone, a skilled one. And it seemed that Hueco had forgotten that. Without having to focus on it too much, Armond shot spear shaped crystal out of each of his ten fingers, the crystals were small, and traveled very quickly, it was highly likely that Hueco would be hit. However the tips were blunted, so they wouldn't hurt him, but Hueco would knew he had been hit.
